What a crazy week we have had here at the ATV Big Air Tour! 2 shows back-to-back in Minnesota and Indiana, and one of the biggest rainfalls we have ever seen in my hometown. It was very eventful but overall another great weekend on Tour.
Last Friday night brought us to South Bend IN for the St Joseph County 4H Fair for the second year in a row. The weather was extremely hot but the crowd was great. Big Congrats to our Facebook VIP Winner Jennifer and her family for winning backstage passes to the show for some exclusive opportunities to see behind the scenes action. And also Thank you St Joseph County 4H fairboard for hosting us and we look forward to coming back!
Directly after the show we hit the road and made our way back to Minnesota for Elko Speedway’s “Eve of Destruction”. With heavy rains predicted and a few showers on and off throughout the day, we were very lucky to perform the show and miss all the bad weather. Elko was another great crowd and we had lots of fun being back around auto racing again. The green mamba jetcar roasted a car to the ground- crazy!
And if you’ve been watching the news you maybe heard how hard Southwest Minnesota got hit with rain. That’s actually where I live in my hometown of Wabasso MN and I’ve never seen this much water before. Basements were completely flooded and a lot of damage has been done. But people here have been helping one another and it’s great to see my community come together after such a discouraging disaster. I’m extremely grateful our Tour office was safe and all of our ATV Big Air contents kept dry!
Once again I want to say a big thanks to my amazing crew, the St Joseph County 4H fairboard, everyone from Elko Speedway, and our incredibly loud fans cheering us on last weekend. You guys make our jobs very enjoyable and we love weekends on this Tour! Next up we have 3 big shows next week and are headed to the Delaware County Fair in Manchester IA, Lake of the Wood County Fair in Baudette MN, and the ERX off-road National in Elk River MN. See you at the show!
