2024: A Year of Milestones and Memories For The ATV Big Air Tour

The 2024 ATV Big Air Tour season has officially wrapped up, and what an incredible year it’s been. From new milestones to unforgettable moments on the road, this season truly raised the bar for all of us.

Perfecting the ATV Backflip

One of the highlights this year was watching John Langaas and Nick Rogers perfect the ATV backflip. Both John and Nick have been with the tour for a few years, and we’ve watched them put in the hours, the practice, and the determination to master this next-level trick. Seeing them finally land it this season was an incredible moment, and we couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and commitment.

We also took the tour to new places this year, including Texas and Virginia, connecting with new audiences and making more memories along the way. Expanding to these states has been a dream for a while, and it was amazing to see it finally happen in 2024.

This year also marked the first season on tour for our youngest crew member, baby Gabby. She adjusted to life on the road like a natural, quickly becoming the heart of the crew. Her ability to sleep through the hustle and bustle of show days has been impressive—though I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s already a little adrenaline junkie at heart.

Speaking of babies, Nick Rogers and wife Cassie also added a little one to their family roster! Meet sweet baby Lucy. We are thrilled to add another baby to our ATV Big Air family!

Derek Inspires the Next Generation

In addition to our tour adventures, Derek was honored to be the keynote speaker at the 2024 Career Day for his local community. This special event brought together students from five schools in the district to learn about various career paths. Derek shared his journey of becoming an entrepreneur and highlighted his 20+ year career as a professional ATV rider. His story of dedication, risk-taking, and passion inspired students to dream big and pursue unconventional paths to success.

Learning and Growing

As the season came to a close, we shifted gears and attended the IAFE Convention and Trade Show in Arizona, marking our eighth year at this event. This year was particularly special because we hosted our first public speaking class: Introduction to Canva.

Teaching others how to use Canva, an online graphic design tool, to communicate visually was such a rewarding experience. The class was a huge success, with over 50 people attending and leaving inspired to create better visuals for their own events. It was a new kind of challenge for us, but one we embraced fully.

Looking Ahead to 2025

Even as we reflect on this amazing year, we’re already hard at work planning for 2025. With 15+ shows already booked, next year is shaping up to be just as exciting—and just as busy.

Of course, none of this would be possible without our incredible crew. These individuals are the backbone of the tour, and their dedication, talent, and passion bring it all to life. They’re more than just a team—they’re family—and we’re so grateful to share this journey with them.

Grateful for an Incredible Year

To everyone who made this season so memorable—our crew, fans, and supporters—thank you. Your enthusiasm, encouragement, and belief in what we do mean the world to us.

Here’s to another incredible year ahead. We can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store!
